Weird is subjective so many people might think “tie me kangaroo down sport” is super weird where others see it as a traditional folk song. What about “pipe dream” “the Wall” “Given Fingers” or thousands of other songs. It is way too hard to say what’s weird for everybody when some of the weirdest people consider themselves to be normal. With that being considered, acknowledged, and now out of the way, lets say we choose a few songs that most people might consider weird. there is a song called “super weirdo” and another called “asylum noises” “people being animals” and well really if we wanted to we can make a playlist of about 1000.  Listening to these weird songs can be both entertaining, disturbing and down right hilarious so emotions can become overwhelming and I do get tired sometimes from laughing. What is it with this crazy ass non conventional music that keeps us coming back for more. Perhaps the artistic diversity within ourselves or the reactions we may get from others when they hear us playing these songs. 1000 weird songs will almost certainly challenge your sanity and mixing them into a current music playlist doesn’t always work well either. It’s not first date music in most cases but then again what do I know, I am not dating I am stuck in the studio listening to music wishing I was dating. I do love the music and I think it is best experienced in small doses like a playlist of 10 weird songs at a time, perhaps more if your one to skip through songs if the first 15 seconds doesn’t grab you the right way.  Below you can find a few links to playlist that are worth checking out and as always send me your weird song choices as well.
